Over the weekend, Marina Shifrin quit her job at Next Media Animation, an Internet company that creates reenactment videos. She was fed up with sacrificing her life and relationships to a job where her boss only cared about page views.

She worked as a video producer for Taiwanese company and left ceremoniously when she created her own video showcasing her interpretive dance and gripes about the job.

Her boss accepted her resignation and she plans to move back to Brooklyn. (Watch her video below.)

In the video, Shifrin, 25, busts a move throughout her workplace in the East Asian country about 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 23, as her creative and personal struggles written out in text scroll across the bottom of the screen.

"For almost two years I've sacrificed my relationships, time and energy for this job," it reads. "And my boss only cares … about quantity and how many views each video gets. So I figured … I'd make ONE video of my own."

"I made the video to show my parents and they got such a kick out of it. Then I showed some co-workers and THEY got a kick out of it," she told the NY Daily News. "Everyone thought it was a good idea."

She continued: "I basically left myself no choice but to pursue jobs at creative companies that are willing to take risks. I think if you understand the humor and the innocence behind the video, you understand my type of comedy."
