It looks like Kensi (Daniela Ruah) will be moving on with her dating life without Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen), although it doesn't seem to be going all that well.

A new clip from this week's "Impact" shows Nell (Renée Felice Smith) and Kensi the morning after a group date. While the Ops specialists phone is blowing up, Kensi seems a bit off put when she doesn't hear back from any of the men. Although the sneak peek doesn't reveal much in the way of plot points for the season episode of season 5, it does give viewers a glimpse at the idea that the Kensi/Deeks relationship may not be progressing as well as some may hope.

Will the partners be able to manage a working relationship despite their more romantic feelings toward each other?

"Kensi and Deeks will be split up as partners midseason. And when I say split up, they will really be split up," said series creator Shane Brennan, according to Xfinity. "When you think we can't or won't do anything else, we have got in the back end of the season, a big fat juicy complication in their lives."

While it is still unknown why the pair will be separated (Olsen has teased a possible return to LAPD for Deeks while Ruah recently shot a seven episode Afghanistan story arc), the decision may be rooted in Deeks' torture related PTSD or Ruah's real life pregnancy.
