The oldest daughter of Rev Run, Vanessa Simmons is pregnant with her first child. 

The actress and fashion designer is five months pregnant with boyfriend, Mike Wayans, the son of famous actor, Damon Wayans. 

Vanessa announced the pregnant news via Instagram Monday, posting an image of her sonogram with the caption, "A little princess is on the way."

The Pastry designer's siblings, brother Jojo and sister Angela also posted the picture adding, "I'm going to be an aunty."

In an statement to Vanessa's uncle, Russell Simmons' hip hop site Global Grind, she expressed her excitement to be a first-time mom. 

"Our families are super excited. Our baby is coming into two big families with lots of love and lots of joy. This is my family's first grandchild, so everybody can't wait for her family," the statement read.

No photos of Vanessa's baby bump have yet to be seen. 

According to Russell, Vanessa and Mike have been dating on-and-off for 8 years. 

Earlier this year, Vanessa was casted as the leading lady in upcoming film, My First Loves.

My First Loves is reported to folloe the life of a young woman by the name of Starla (Vanessa), who is preparing marriage, but has to handle unfinished business with her ex-boyfriends first.

"I'm very excited, I've definitely had a chance through these couple of years to experiment and do some indies and some TV work and I'm excited that I was cast to be the lead in this role. I think that it definitely is broadening my horizons and I think it has taken me out of my comfort zone, but I'm excited to tell this story," she told All Hip Hop at the time.
