Fans of E.L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey continue to freely voice their opinions on the recent movie castings of Charlie Hunnam (Christian Grey) and Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele).

Several of James' loyalists haven't pulled any punches for both actors, but its Johnson who's at the received end of the most recent flack.

Although the 23-year-old has already been dished her fair share of criticism, fans still continue to air out their casting grievances.

"Dakota needs to GO! She is not the petite, pretty. doe-eyed, dainty and innocent Ana in the books. She has super small eyes, too tall, boyish body (no assets!), elongated features and angular face that make her look really old for her age," stated an anonymous female fan, according to Classicalite.

While the anonymous fan made it crystal clear that she opposed Johnson for the part of the shy, college graduate, she did acknowledge that Hunnam wasn't ideal, but a good choice nonetheless.

"Charlie is okay ...he isn't anything more than just another hot guy to me (and I am a big SOA fan) and Christian is STRIKING. But at least he's good looking and a good actor. They could've done a lot worse, like that did for Ana," she said.

The British actor, who apparently has a fan petition against him underway, recently defended his future co-star, stating to The Hollywood Reporter that there was instant chemistry from the moment the two read the racy dialogue together.

"As soon as we got in the room and started reading with Dakota, I knew that I definitely wanted to do it because there was a tangible chemistry between them," he said.

Fifty Shades screenwriter Kelly Marcel stated that she'd be adhering to the original content of author James' books with lots of sex and raunchiness. The highly anticipated movie is scheduled to launch in theaters on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2014.
