Sunday's episode of The Good Wife, part of season 5, will feature tempers soaring among the characters while Will Gardner (Josh Charles) confronts Alicia Flockhart (Juliana Margulies).

The teaser for The Bit Bucket has a light-hearted start where everyone is smiling, which is also intended as a bit of a facade. Alicia and husband Peter Florrick (Chris North) pose for an official portrait as Governor and First Lady of Illinois and there is a funny exchange between Judge Kluger (Jeffrey Tambor) and Alicia in court. However, the intensity builds quickly. It seems like Diane Flockhart (Christine Baranski) is on to Alicia's plans of leaving, and she may be maliciously plotting against her own partner, Will.

"So I trash Will or I am not nominated," Diane said while speaking with Eli (Alan Cumming).

Toward the end of the teaser, which runs with the voice-over "every episode will build to this," viewers see Will confront Alicia, knocking everything off of her table in a fit of rage.

Here's the official synopsis for the second episode:

"Alicia and Cary sue the NSA on behalf of search engine Chumhum, unaware that Lockhart/Gardner's connection to a former client has resulted in the spy agency monitoring the firm's communications. Meanwhile, Alicia's mom takes steps to support her daughter, and Eli works to secure Diane's Supreme Court nomination, on The Good Wife. Jeffrey Tambor returns as Judge Kluger and Stockard Channing returns as Veronica."

In season 4 finale, Alicia decided to leave Lockhart/Gardner -- secretly planning her exit to start a new firm with Cary (Matt Czuchry) -- and recommit to her husband Peter.

Juliana Marguiles Suggests That Alicia She Might Fall Back in Love with Will.

The recently revealed synopsis of the third episode, A Precious Commodity, suggested that Alicia might decide to stay on with Lockhart/Gardner, and that Will Gardner will catch wind of Alicia's secret plans and do something to deflect her from leaving the firm.

Season 5 premiered on Sept. 29. In Everything is Ending, Will suspected that the associates might be leaving and asked Alicia to find out if they were happy or if the firm should be worried. He also asked Kalinda Sharma (Archie Punjabi) to comb through their cellphone records, putting Kalinda in a sticky situation as she is aware of the fact that Alicia is leaving.

The guest stars in episode 2 will include Melissa George as Marilyn, Peter's ethics counsel; Ben Rappaport as lawyer Carey Zepps; and defense attorney Barry Scheck will guest star as himself.

Episode 2 airs Oct. 6.
