A new photo taken on set for Glee may have revealed that one of the show's many characters may be joining the military.

The photo, which was released on Twitter by a Glee insider, features the inside of a military base. Fans wondering who might be enlisting probably do not have to look any further than the detailed synopsis for episode 3, The Quarterback, which was released recently.

The Quarterback features all of the main characters grieving the death of Finn (Cory Monteith) and paying tribute to the likable football star. The synopsis reveals that Puck (Mark Salling) makes a "life-changing decision" about his future in the episode, indicating that he may be the one joining the military.

The choice would make sense considering Finn enlisted in the Army in season 4 before being discharged for accidentally shooting himself in the leg. Puck may decide to pay tribute to his best friend by enlisting in the Army himself.

Salling was reduced to recurring status after starring in Glee for four seasons. Sending his character off to the military would give him the opportunity to pursue other career options. Salling will be starring in a TV movie this fall, lending even more proof that he will be off the show for a while.
