In the 100th episode of The Good Wife, Will (Josh Charles) and Alicia (Juliana Maruglies) will face-off in court, series co-creator Robert King revealed in a recent interview with TVLine.

Season 5 premiered on Sept. 29. In the first episode, Everything is Ending, Will suspected that the associates might be leaving and asked Alicia to find out if they were happy or if the firm should be worried. He also asked Kalinda Sharma (Archie Punjabi) to comb through their cellphone records, putting Kalinda in a sticky situation as she is aware of the fact that Alicia is leaving.

Toward the end of the teaser for Bit Bucket, which runs with the voice-over "every episode will build to this," viewers see Will confront Alicia, knocking everything off of her table in a fit of rage. It seemed like this was Will's obvious reaction to finding out that Alicia had plans of leaving the firm but King suggests that that might not be the case. "I'd rather not say what that's regarding. The audience may be surprised what that's about," he told TVLine.

King also addressed fans' concerns about seeing very little of Kalinda Sharma (Archie Punjabi) in the premiere, assuring them that she is not being sidelined. "I think they're going to find that there are episodes she figures very big in, and some less so. And that is truly a function of scheduling and other difficulties. I think they'll be happy [when they view the season as a whole]. They'll even be happy [when they view the first] month," he said.

The show will hit a century this season, and King promises that the 100th episode will match up to the anticipation. In the episode, Alicia will be representing her own firm, Florrick Argos & Associates, and battling her former lover and boss, Will in court.

"There's going to be a whole act where they use what they know about each other from their love affair in a courtroom battle," King revealed. "They're going to basically undercut each other every step of the way."
