Actress Kate Hudson is being pressured by her 9-year-old son to get married to longtime fiancé Matthew Bellamy, she said during her Tuesday appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The couple has been engaged since the spring of 2011 but the two have yet to set a date for their wedding. If it was up to Hudson's son Ryder, whom she had with ex-husband Chris Robinson, the pair would be walking down the aisle any day now.

The Reluctant Fundamentalist star admitted to DeGeneres she is feeling "a little bit" of pressure from her elder son to get married again.

"I think he looks forward to more the party than actually the idea of us getting married," Hudson explained. "He seems to have it already planned out what he's wearing and he apparently he wants to wear a neon green tux."

"Great," the talk show host joked.

"That's what I said," laughed Hudson, also mom to 2-year-old son Bing. "You know, I'm all for it."

The Something Borrowed actress added, "He loves neon green. He wants to wear neon green with black. That's pretty cool. He's a bit of a fashion boy."

Hudson told E! News earlier in 2013 that she and Bellamy will get married when the time is right.

"The idea of having a ceremony would be really only for the families to be brought together in that sort of union," said the star, who was married to Robinson from 2000 to 2007. "It will happen eventually."

Hudson's mother, Goldie Hawn, has been dating actor Kurt Russel for over 20 years and they have famously never got married.
