Eminem passionately raps the lyrics to Survival in the song's video, which was released on Tuesday.
"Wasn't ready to be no millionaire, I was ill-prepared. I was prepared to be ill though. The skill was there," he raps.
The clip also shows Eminem wearing a face mask as he spray paints the image of a skeleton on the side of a building. The rapper continues to paint the wall throughout the video.
The song, which features Skylar Grey, dropped in August as part of an online trailer for Activision's game Call of Duty: Ghosts. In turn, the video appropriately shows footage from the game. It also displays several of Eminem's live performances. At the end of the video, the 40-year-old is seen walking towards his childhood home in Detroit. He stares at the broken-down house and then walks away.
Eminem released his upcoming album's cover art in September, which displays the same home. The window's are boarded and the house seems abandoned. The cover of his 2000 album, The Marshall Mathers LP, featured the same house, however, Eminem was also photographed in front of it.
Slim Shady's upcoming eighth solo album, titled The Marshall Mathers LP 2, will hits stores on Nov. 5. The first single, Berzerk, was released in late August and it debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The tune was also No. 2 on Digital Songs and topped the Rap Songs chart that first week.
The Marshall Mathers LP 2 will be his first release since 2010's Recovery. That record, which went multi-platinum and rose to No. 1 on Billboard, features the hits Not Afraid and the Rihanna collaboration Love The Way You Lie.
