Soon PC gamers will be able to get their hands on one of the hottest games of the year.

Grand Theft Auto V launched for consoles in mid-September to rave reviews. While those with compatible systems are busy playing through the notorious crime saga, PC gamers are impatiently waiting for their release.

However, Rockstar Games has not yet made an official announcement regarding the new version. Rumors regarding possible dates vary drastically, but a few seem to revolve around the holiday season.

"Gamers are preparing their systems for a strong roster of games coming this fall, including blockbuster franchises, such as Call of Duty: Ghosts, Grand Theft Auto V and Assassin's Creed IV," said NVIDIA exec Chris Evenden, according to the International Digital Times.

Meanwhile, GTA V TV claims that the game will come to computers on November 22. Gamers will find this date comparatively better than the March 18 date forwarded by Komplett via Now Gamer.

Buyers concerned by the lack of official news from Rockstar recently started a petition attempting to ensure that the game will come to PC, a preferably in less time than the long eight months fans of GTA IV were forced to wait.

The petition is currently at nearly 600,000 signatures.
