Microsoft is gearing up for the launch of their new Xbox One system and it appears quite a few new features will be ready to go on release day.

The system is set to debut on Nov. 22 and, while some nervous customers have latched onto rumors that their Day One shipments will not make it on time, a spokesperson has stated otherwise.

"All Day One pre-orders will be fulfilled as planned at launch," the spokesperson said according to GottaBeMobile.

However, the site claims that some retailers such as Target and Walmart have apparently told customers that the Day One edition will be delayed. Furthermore, GottaBeMobile states that the Xbox store does not list guaranteed release date delivery as one of the features for the Day One version.

There is some good news for potential buyers, though. In response to the rumors that Sony's Playstation 4 will have the ability to record up to 15 minutes of gameplay, Microsoft has finally announced that their new DVR system will record up to 5 minutes of play, according to the Latino Post.

"It's called Project Upload. So the idea is you're always recording," said Microsoft Studios creative director Ken Lobb, according to Gamespot. "So we have a ring buffer game DVR, basically. So the last five minutes of any game you're playing is always being stored locally on your hard drive."

The Xbox One is currently priced at $499.99 in the U.S.
