Kate Middleton has proved once again that she's normal just like the rest of us.

An antiques shop owner has come forward and claimed that the Duchess of Cambridge asked for a discount when she bought some items at a store, including her infamous nude pumps at a Norfolk store a few months ago when she was carrying Prince George.

Middleton and her husband visited the Old Stables shop, located near their new 10-bedroom Georgian country home on the Queen's Sandringham estate.

"Kate came in when quite pregnant," Owner Carolyn Combe told Tatler magazine. "Such thin legs in her wellies. She was looking at various things and asked for a discount.

Carolyn's husband Roger, who runs the shop on a daily basis added the Middleton and Prince William's visit was just as normal as any husband and wife's shopping trip with The Duke of Cambridge waiting in the car, because he was "bored."

"If I may say so, William looked like every man who's forced to go shopping with his wife," he said, "which is bored bloody stiff and didn't get out of the car."

But despite it all, Carolyn gave the Duchess a pretty good discount.

"Of course," Carolyn said, adding "she's got a big house to do up. But I love her for asking."

The price of the discount was not revealed.

Meanwhile, rumors have swirled that Middleton and Prince William are trying for a second child.

"William and Kate are very keen to start trying for baby No. 2 and they'd be thrilled if Kate were pregnant by Christmas. William and Kate will be splitting their time during the holidays with Kate's family and the queen in Sandringham House in Norfolk, so it would be the perfect moment for an announcement," an alleged source told Life & Style magazine.
