While he's mostly known for his white face paint and black attire on the musical stage, fans of Marilyn Manson will get to see him in rare form on season 4 of HBO's Eastbound & Down; in the flesh without a trace of makeup.

According to Daily Mail, the 44-year-old was spotted on the set of the program without a smidgen of makeup and sporting a drastically lighter man.

Manson, whose real name is Brian Hugh Warner, is said to be a mega-fan of the show, which stars Danny McBride (Kenny Powers) and is about a former baseball player returning to his old middle school to become a physical education teacher.

The Dope Show singer was said to have lobbied for quite some time to receive a guest role, even typing up emails to McBride during and after his pursuit for the part.

"I get weird emails from Marilyn Manson now. He send me weird emails in the middle of the night of what he's watching on TV, and you can hear him giggling in the background. One time he sent me a Peanuts special I guess he was watching, sometimes it's Eastbound, informercials, anything," McBride said.

HBO's Eastbound & Down will be showing its next episode, Chapter 24, on Sunday, Oct. 13. An air date for the Manson episode has yet to be announced.
