Robin's (Kimberly McCullogh) attempts to escape captivity have failed her so far on General Hospital.

A new promo for Thursday's episode showed her still in Jerry's (Sebastian Roche) clutches as she is forced to work on a cure for polonium poisoning. He also reminded her that no one knows she's there, so she's completely at his mercy.

"Worst-case scenario, I die, you die," Jerry told an upset-looking Robin.

Her family in Port Charles is tormented by the thought that she may be alive after Robin's father Robert (Tristan Rogers) recently awoke from a coma and told her mother Anna (Finola Hiughes) that she is alive. Robin's husband Patrick (Jason Anderson) is also beginning to feel her presence again, which is affecting his current relationship with Sabrina (Teresa Castillo).

"My connection to Robin is stronger than it ever was," he said to Sabrina in the new promo.

Meanwhile, Luke (Anthony Geary) is still also on Cassadine Island slowly dying from polonium poisoning like Jerry. While the latter plans to use him as a guinea pig, Robin has no idea Luke is on the island.

Geary recently sat down with TV Guide to talk about the possibility of Luke exiting the show.

"In the soap business, everyone is expendable and you never take anything for granted," he said. "That said, I'm not sure the audience does buy this. When that ex-KGB agent Alexander Litvinenko was poisoned with polonium a few years back-they think by Putin-he was covered in gruesome sores. It's a hellish death. I really wanted to go there but they wouldn't let me."

Geary did say if Luke will die, but he hope that if he does goes out, it's in an big and honorable way.

"If I ever do leave GH-not something I want to see happen anytime soon-I want Luke to die. I don't want him coming home for Christmas episodes or the birth of his great grandchildren," Geary said. "I would prefer him go out in a blaze of glory and also that it be the climax of a wonderful story that involves the entire community, rather than some inconsequential B plot."

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
