The design for the optimus prime robot for Transformers: Age of Extinction was revealed at a pre-party building up to the New York Comic Con, which kick-started on Oct. 12.

Hasbro hosted the party and brought out a bunch of Transformers 4 toys which featured the optimus prime robot and vehicle.

The optimus prime vehicle was a replica of one of the Tranformers 4 images of the customized trucks director Michael Bay had posted on the movie's website.

The collection also included villainous characters like Electro, the antagonist in the Amazing Spider Man 2, the Winter Soldier from Captain America, and also an image of the packaging which will be used for Star Wars:Rebels from Lucas films.

On Oct. 3 a massive bomb explosion scene for the film was filmed at a grain silo site in Chicago.

Jack Reynor is the male lead of the film and will be playing a race car driver. Nicola Peltz acts as Reynor's girlfriend in the film and Wahlberg will portray Flynn Vincent, Peltz's dad.

Kelsey Grammer was the most recent addition to the cast. He will be playing the role of Harold Attinger, a counter-intelligence agent who is the main antagonist in the film. Grammer spoke about his character to Empire magazine in September.

"He's a no-nonsense guy. He's lived his life in the shadows for 30 years in the service of his country, and he likes to be unremarkable yet very efficient." he said of Harold.
