Actress Sandra Bullock showed she can rap when she performed Sugar Hill Gang's Rapper's Delight on The Jonathan Ross Show Oct. 12.

The talk show host dug up some information about the Gravity star's affinity for rap music when she was in high school. After Bullock told Ross about a song she and her friends used to rap to, he played the intro of the track and she nodded in approval while feeling the beat.

She went on to tell Ross that she actually learned the lyrics to the entire song to impress a boy in high school.

"Next time I go to that dance I am going to know every word and I am going to make sure he sees me lip-syncing it and I am going to catch his eye and I am going to say the words and he is going to like me," she said. "And sadly, it worked!"

She then rattled off the words as fellow guest that night, Tom Hanks, cheered her on.
