Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen recently revealed in an interview with Net-a-Porter they've had an appreciation for luxury fashion and design since their days as Michelle Tanner on Full House.

The dynamic duo said they wore high fashion adult pieces from notable designers like Chanel and Marc Jacobs on the set of the show.

"[On Full House] we'd be in six-hour fittings three times a week, because we had to wear 12 different outfits," Ashely said, to which Mary-Kate added, "We were designing clothes for ourselves as we were so petite. So I think that is when we became obsessed with fit, and now the obsession has become a profession."

The singers have becone icons in the fashion industry with their clothing lines The Row, and Elizabeth and James. They said they hope pieces from The Row bring a nice balance to high fashion labels, such as Chanel.

"If I wear certain designer brands, or too much of something, I look crazy, and I need something to break it up," Ashley said. "If you are wearing a Chanel jacket and you need an anonymous piece that will show you just how special that jacket is, I hope that is what The Row gives you."

The Olsen twins have been in the spotlight since they were babies and seem to be handling it pretty well.

"We were nine months old when we started, so fame has always been part of our lives. There wasn't any weirdness where we decided that we wanted to be famous," Ashley said. "Then as we got older, we were very fortunate that we could hire and work with amazing people who want to protect us."
