With the series premiere of Ravenswood only days away, Pretty Little Liars fans are preparing to see one of their main characters in a new light.

Caleb Rivers (Tyler Blackburn) is leaving Rosewood for the brand new spinoff and his life is about to get a giant dose of the supernatural just in time for Halloween, according to E!.

The former Liars character will now be tasked with taking on a multi-generational curse that will unite him with four strangers - Miranda (Nicole Gale Anderson), Olivia (Merritt Patterson), Luke (Brett Dier), and Remy (Britne Oldford). As Caleb digs into his family's past (partially by spending an extreme amount of time in a cemetery), viewers will slowly be filled in on how he is connected with the curse.

"[Some of his family history] is uncovered in [Pretty Little Liars], he first meets his mom and then he finds out that his 'uncle' is his father." Blackburn explained to TV Fanatic. "While in Ravenswood [he] starts to uncover more about his father's side of the family and their dealings with Ravenswood...So every episode you find out a little bit more."

While Pretty Little Liars revolved around the mystery of 'A,' Ravenswood will have a less tangible villain.

"A's a human, A's a person. This curse is mystical, it's spiritual," Blackburn said, according to TV Fanatic. "It's much harder to grasp and understand and therefore control. So it's almost scarier."

If recent promos are to be trusted, the ABC Family program will defiantly have more chills and thrills than its sister series. However, what may be most frightening for Liars fans is the possible split of Caleb and Hanna (Ashley Benson).

"For right now they're going to stay apart," Blackburn said of Caleb's Rosewood girlfriend. "There is definite room for crossovers and who knows what will happen, but at first Hanna allows Caleb to go and help Miranda uncover some[things] about her past but in turn finds out about his."

Whatever does come to pass between the two, it will at some point involve Caleb heading back to the Liars town, according to Blackburn.

Ravenswood will premiere on Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on ABC Family after the Pretty Little Liars Halloween special.
