While Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas complete their promo rounds for their upcoming biopic, Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story, they confessed what it was like to see actresses portray the biggest turning points of their lives, Huffington Post reported.

Keke Palmer stars as Chilli, Drew Sidora as T-Boz and rapper Lil Mama plays Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes who died in a car crash in 2002. Chilli and T-Boz admitted seeing Lil Mama's portrayal was "kind of scary" for them.

"She totally came into character," Chilli said. "The resemblance was just crazy at times. Naturally, she kind of had some of the similar characteristics like Lisa. It was kind of eerie at times for us."

Lil Mama revealed that she definitely did her research before taking on the role.

"I looked at different interviews of Lisa, watching the way she speaks and her delivery."

T-Boz added, "You never know how you look to someone else until you see for yourself. It was weird. It was very weird seeing my haircut on Drew...To see them do our dance moves really took us back."

While TLC is the best-selling R&B female group of all time, they recently revealed to MTV they could've had another number one hit under their belt. They said Britney Spears' ...Baby One More Time--which turns 15 this year-- could have been theirs-- but they shut it down.

T-Boz said, "I was like, I like the song but do I think it's a hit? Do I think it's TLC? I'm not saying 'hit me baby.' No disrespect to Britney....It's good for her."

Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story premieres Monday Oct. 21 on VH1 at 9/8c--it's the network's first original biopic since Michael Jackson's "Man In the Mirror: The Michael Jackson Story" was released in 2004.
