While Apple has hyped the new iPad 5 as a topic of conversation at its keynote on Tuesday, the tech magnate is also expected to announce the new updates to it's MacBook Pro.

Currently there are three laptops on the market from the Cupertino based company - the MacBook Air, the MacBook Pro, and the MacBook Pro with Retina Display. However, there are some who believe that Apple is looking to whittle that number down to two and may do so starting with this new launch, according to Bloomberg Buisnessweek.

Buyers can expect the new MacBook Pro Retina to carry the new Haswell Intell Processor, according to the International Business Times. Running off this new processor will be an updated operating system. While the company recently rolled out iOS7 for their mobile devices, the laptops will be receiving OSX Mavericks.

The form of the Retina device will remain the same, according to Gotta Be Mobile. This means accessories will be easily available for new buyers and those updating their machines will not need to drop more money on a new case.

As for the price, some, like Gotta Be Mobile, anticipate that Apple may drop the price of the Retina MacBook Pro if they are not planning on keeping the non-Retina model.
