Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian with a beautiful ring, but ex-husband Kris Humphries' diamond engagement jewel was 5 carats bigger.
The 33-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality star got the proposal of her lifetime on Monday while celebrating her birthday. The Yeezus rapper rented out the AT&T Park and filled it with family members and close loved ones. On the giant stadium screen, he posted "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!," while a live orchestra played Lana Del Ray's Young and Beautiful and Kanye's collab with Ne-Yo and Keri Hilson, Knock You Down.
Kardashian was photographed with the 15-carat diamond ring and though it was beautiful, the jewel was quite smaller that the 20.5 carat ring Humphries gave her back in 2011.
The Boston Celtics player only paid $750,000 for the Lorraine Schwartz gem, as it retailed at $2 million.
No word on how much West paid for the ring, which is also a Lorraine Schwartz ring.
According to reports, when the rapper took Kardashian to Paris for Fashion Week earlier this fall, he went ring shopping at the city's most expensive jewelry store, Boucheron.
Though it is a happy time for Kardashian and West, source said Humphries is not worried about the couple.
"He doesn't care about the two getting engaged. He is all about being ready and focusing on the upcoming NBA season. Kim being out of his life is only a great thing and he could care less about her birthday and engagement," a source told HollywoodLife.com
Humphries and Kardashian got married on Aug. 20, 2011 and their divorce was finalized on June 3, 2013.
