Grand Theft Auto 5: Online gamers will have to find alternative ways of making a large sum of money than beating the same mission over and over again.

Some users have taken advantage of the missions paying the same amount each time it is completed, allowing them to rack up a large amount of money. In order to curb this, Grand Theft Auto 5 developer Rockstar Games introduced an update that would only give the user a reduced amount after beating a mission more than once.

"For those of you inquiring about mission payouts, there was a change that reduces payouts by 50 percent after a repeat of the mission," Rockstar said on its website. "The first time you play and beat the mission, you will get the full amount. Subsequent replays will see a payout amount reduced by half. This is to keep the game balanced as well as encourage the exploration of new missions and content in the game."

Rockstar said that the reason for the update was because users could get very good at beating one particular mission, so they wanted to make it more fair to "match that case."

Users who are looking to get around this update can use cheats and alternative methods by taking advantage of certain parts of the game. One easy way to get money fast is by robbing armored trucks. Find an armored vehicle driving along the streets of Los Santos, shoot the driver and blow the back doors open using a gun or some C4. You can usually earn over $5,000 from one armored vehicle.

A more legal strategy for money is through investing in Merryweather Securities. The stock is low after completing the game but the stock will increase exponentially over the next few days.
