The woman who nearly fainted during President Obama's speech Monday spoke out about the incident where the commander-in-chief stopped speaking to help her, amid claims that the whole event was staged to promote his healthcare program.

"I'm ok world-just got a little lightheaded. Thanks @BarackObama for catching me! And good thing this pregnant diabetic is pregnant :}," Karmel Allison tweeted.

Allison was one of 13 people chosen to stand behind President Obama while he gave a speech defending his controversial Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, while he conceded that the website that allows Americans to sign up is flawed.

In a live video of the incident, Allison, wearing a red dress, can be seen being held up by the woman next to her while appearing still visibly shaky and rocking on her feet as she nearly fainted from what she now admits was her blood sugar getting too low. As Allison was about to fall, President Obama stopped his speech and turned to her, then leaned over to catch her before she hit the ground.

Obama then tried to make light of the situation, saying, "This is what happens when I talk too long."

Allison was reportedly invited to the event because she had been suffering from diabetes for a long time and has struggled to find affordable healthcare for her pre-existing condition, something that is set to change now with Obama's healthcare law.

Some believe the fainting was staged, tweeting to Allison that they didn't believe she was really about to pass out.

"@Turning3010 @karmel_a That was the worst acting I've seen awhile. Pretty low you have to fake fainting to push #Obamacare #infowars," wrote a Twitter user who goes by the handle @dickmorris.
