Rumors stating that the new device woulod be available in gold were proven false, as the new device is only available in black and white. However new covers for both the Mini, the Air, and older generation iPad will be available, ranging in prices from $39-$79 depending on the device model the customer has.

The iPad mini with retina display will start at $399 for the 16GB, and like the Air, arrives in November, however it will be available later in the month than the larger model. Last year's model will now be offered for $299.
