Now that Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici have announced the date for their upcoming wedding, Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried will have to wait a bit longer to have their own televised nuptials.

According to an insider, Hartsock delayed having a televised wedding so she could focus on her new career as a blogger.

"Desiree wasn't originally on board with the idea of having a TV wedding, but after she thought about it, she realized that this was the perfect opportunity to launch her dream career as a bridal designer," an insider told Life & Style. "What's frustrating is that Sean and Catherine are also having one, so that means ABC will want to space them out."

Hartsock reportedly always planned to have a summer wedding but ABC producers told her she will now have to wait until fall 2014.

"She's very upset about not being able to get married in the summer like she's always dreamed, but she's willing to make the sacrifice because she would marry Chris tomorrow if she could," the insider explained. "She just wants to get married so bad, but still wants to be able to take advantage of having a TV wedding."

Hartsock, who was a bridal gown designer and stylist before she became this year's Bachelorette, allegedly feels it will be worth the wait. She plans to create her own wedding gown and believes a televised wedding would be an ideal way to promote her own designs.

"She thinks it will be a great way to get her enough press to make a name for herself in bridal fashion once everyone sees how great of a designer she is," the source said.

Lowe and Giudici announced on Good Morning America on Oct. 14 that they will walk down the aisle on Jan. 26, 2014. Their wedding will be the first Bachelor one to broadcast live. Lowe said they agreed to televise their special day because they wanted to share the experience with their fans.

"The Bachelor is such a cool experience because people at home feel like they know us and they're invested in our relationship," he said GMA. "We have no problem sharing the actual wedding with everyone who has been with us so far."
