Now that Bones has aired its big wedding episode, the series will get back into its regular procedural format.

Bones still has Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan's (Emily Deschanel) honeymoon to cover followed by the bachelorette party, but the series will soon return to its "traditional, non-even episodes."

Executive producers Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan told TVLine in a Tuesday report that they are currently "working on a half-dozen more traditional, non-event Bones episodes" in order to get the show back to its more procedural roots.

"We front-loaded this season with [big episodes]," Hanson explained. "So we'll have a run of fun, lighter-hearted romantic-crimedy Bones. And then we will start in with a couple more event-type episodes.

One of the bigger event to expect in the future may involve The Ghost Killer, the temporary name the producers are giving the next serial killer.

In other Bones news, the producers addressed the possibility of getting Zooey Deschanel, sister to Emily, on the show as a guest star.

"It's impossible to schedule her - she's just busy all the time," Nathan explained. "She's in every scene of [New Girl]." Fans shouldn't expect Emily to appear on New Girl either.

"Emily works huge hours a week," Hanson said. "And she has a baby to take care of too. I don't see how she could possibly do it. It would be great [publicity] for us, but I just don't think that there's a human being in the world who could do it."

Bones airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on Fox.
