The attorney best known for representing Casey Anthony has been retained to represent a 12-year-old Florida girl who is accused of bullying another teen, Rebecca Sedwick, until the girl committed suicide.

Jose Baez was Anthony's lawyer when the Florida mother was acquitted in 2011 of killing her young daughter. He will now represent a 12-year-old girl -- whose name was not released -- charged with aggravated stalking. She, and one 14-year-old girl identified by The Inquisitr as Guadalupe Shaw, were arrested after the latter reportedly made an incriminating comment on social media.

"Yes, I know I bullied Rebecca and she killed herself but IDGAF," Shaw allegedly wrote online.

Sedwick committed suicide Sept. 9 after climbing a tower at an abandoned concrete plant and hurling herself to her death, according to CBS NewsShe killed herself after a gang of up to 15 girls repeatedly terrorized her for months via text messages and online message boards.

"They did things like 'You should die, you should drink bleach and die.' You see a pattern of harassment, a pattern of intimidation and that's what they did. They intimidated this girl. They harassed her. She had no peace," Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said.

The bullying reportedly started over a boy both Sedwick and the Shaw had dated.

Both suspects are currently under house arrest and if convicted they will unlikely serve prison sentences for their first offense.

The 14-year-old's stepmother was arrested Oct. 18 in an unrelated bullying case after a video surfaced online of her punching two young boys who were fighting on a bed. She was charged with two counts of child abuse with bodily harm and four counts of child neglect.
