Kerry Washington's baby bump rumors continue after she confirmed in a recent interview that she does not drink alcohol.

Washington told New York Post newspaper's Page Six column that she doesn't drink because she doesn't need the additional calories. However, some speculate that it could it be a cover-up for a pregnancy.

"I actually live quietly. Work hard. Get bored easily. Don't drink," Washington told Page Six. "Who needs those empty calories? I watch what I eat. I train, do pilates."

The Scandal actress also spoke about her Saturday Night Live hosting gig on Nov. 2 and said she looks forward to it. The native New Yorker is also excited to come back to her hometown where her parents reside and where SNL broadcasts live.

"Means Halloween in New York. I can't stay up late, but I'm a fan of the show," she also said. "I'm always back in NYC. I'm born here. My parents are here."

As her career continues to heat up, so does her personal life. Washington married NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha on July 2, according to reports. US Weekly later reported the newlyweds applied for a marriage license on June 24 in Blaine County, Idaho before they wed in the state.

The pregnancy rumors started shortly after when another source reported that an insider close to Washington revealed the she's pregnant but intends to keep it a secret.

"Kerry plans on hiding out throughout the summer from the public," the alleged source told the gossip blog.

The source also revealed the actress is working with Scandal creator and executive producer Shonda Rhimes to include a pregnancy story line for Washington's character Olivia Pope in Season 3.
