Clint and Dina Eastwood's marriage has come to an end after she filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences," Yahoo! reported Wednesday.

This isn't Dina's first attempt to end her relationship with the Gran Torino actor.

She filed for a formal separation on Sept. 9 after 17 years of marriage, but pulled out two days later. That same day her husband was spotted in Los Angeles with his girlfriend, Erica Fisher. Dina now wants to go through with a legal divorce and submitted the official papers at the Monterey County Superior Court on Tuesday, Oct.22, TMZ reported.

She tweeted Wednesday about facing hardships in her life, saying, "When you last struggled, what did you say to yourself to pull out of it? (At my age, I have my mantras!) Share your thoughts?! #cheek."

An insider and close family friend told Us Weekly, "Dina could not handle how Clint decided to live with his new girlfriend and her son. It tortured her.

"She was deciding what to do and figure out the best course of action given this news so she withdrew the separation. But she decided this is what she needed to do now," the source explained. "She has been devastated."

Dina is seeking full custody of the couple's 16-year-old daughter, Morgan, and also wants Clint to pay her legal and spousal expenses.

The actor has eight other children from five other relationships. Dina was his second wife. His daughter, Francesca Eastwood, told E! News on Tuesday at the Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag launch party that she would be celebrating Thanksgiving twice this year-- once with her mother, actress Frances Fisher, and again with her father.
