One of the characters on Glee may be getting their own spinoff if one of the cast members gets their way.

Naya Rivera, who plays Santana on the musical series, told E! News at Elle's Women of Hollywood gala that she would love to have a spinoff featuring her character.

"She can do anything," Rivera said, discussing her character. "That's the beauty of Santana."

Glee will be going off the air next year in its sixth season but there have not been any official plans to spin off any characters from the show. Series creator Ryan Murphy revealed the news that Glee was ending at a Paley Center event on Oct. 17.

Rivera discussed her feelings on Glee ending after six seasons.

"We always kind of knew that," Rivera explained. "We've had an amazing run on this show, and so whenever it ends, it has to end. Unfortunately, it can't go on forever. But, I'm just really grateful that I was on it for this long."

"It was definitely tough, but all in all, I think it was a great episode. I'm really proud of everybody," she told Access Hollywood.
