Georgina Chapman and Alyssa Milano spoke to Enstars about their own start in the fashion industry and what lies ahead in season 3 of Project Runway: All-Stars, premiering Thursday, Oct. 24, on Lifetime.

Chapman returns to judge the design competition with Issac Mizrahi and is joined by newcomer Milano, who double's as the show's host. Marie Claire's Senior Fashion Editor, Zanna Roberts Rassi, takes on the role as a mentor for the 11 former top ranking Project Runway contestants returning to compete for a prize package worth almost $1 million.

Chapman, co-founder of fashion house Marchesa, knows what the show's designers feel like when putting their pieces out for the world to judge. Though her label with Karen Craig was launched in 2004, making her practically a veteran in the industry, the former model said she still gets butterflies in her stomach when premiering a collection.

The British designer was nervous in her late 20s when Marchesa started and gets the same feeling nowadays.

"Absolutely. I'm still nervous every show. I'm really nervous," she admitted.

Chapman's fashion icons include the late English magazine editor Isabella Blow, who was also the muse of hat designer Phillip Treacy.

Milano said she leans toward the "electric, fashion-forward and yet wearable" ensembles of Marissa Webb, whom she called her favorite designer and one of her dream guest judges on Project Runway: All-Stars. The Mistresses star is also "obsessed" with actress Tilda Swinton's style.

"I think she's my favorite fashion icon right now," she added.

The new addition to the Project Runway family has her own clothing line, Touch by Alyssa Milano, and previously explained to Enstars that her connection to the fashion world began during her childhood. Her mother, who was a designer, made all her clothes when she was younger.

A self-proclaimed "huge fan" of the design competition who has followed it from the beginning, Milano compared season 3 of All-Stars to ones before and said this year "is so much harder."

"They only have 10 hours to execute their challenges, that's it," she explained. "From the design process, buying the fabrics to the fit and sewing -- 10 hours. That's it."

One designer's life will be forever altered when it is revealed later in the year who was crowned the winner of All-Stars season 3. Though she did not compete on the show, Milano still took away something from the experience that made a lasting impression on her.

"My views on fashion have changed since doing this show. It kind of reminded me about how fashion is supposed to be self-expression," she said. "I think actors, we tend to -- celebrities in general - we tend to play it safe on the red carpet because we have fears that we're gonna wind up on some 'worst dressed' list or fashion police or something. and I am certainly guilty of that myself."

The season 3 premiere episode of Project Runway: All-Stars airs Thursday, Oct. 24, at 9 p.m. on Lifetime. Guest judges include include Debbie Harry, Kristin Chenoweth, Gayle King, Gabourey Sidibe and Nick Cannon.
