The new albums of Arcade Fire and Cut Copy are available for free streaming online ahead of their official releases.

The Arcade Fire album, Reflektor, is up for streaming as a Youtube link. It plays as a soundtrack to Marcel Camus's 1959 film, Black Orpheus. The frontman, Win Butler, told Rolling Stone recently that it was one of his favorite films. He also spoke about how he had been influenced by his experience in Haiti while writing the album:

"There was a band I felt like changed me musically [in Haiti], just really opened me up to this huge, vast amount of culture and influence I hadn't been exposed to before, which was really life-changing," he said.

Arcade Fire is scheduled to perform at the YouTube Music Awards Nov. 3 in New York City. Filmmaker and music video visionary Spike Jonz is the creative director of the show, which will be hosted by actor Jason Schwartzman.

The lead singer Dan Crooner of Cut Copy spoke about the main theme of Free Your Mind in a recent interview with Spin.

"The concept of freedom is one that's universally positive and timeless, and whatever each person's version of that freedom is, it's a good thing to be reminding people or even just ourselves to be 'free,' " he said.

The band will be embarking on a world tour -- through North America, South America, and Europe -- to promote the album from Oct. 30 through mid-December.
