Kandi Burruss & Todd Tucker Married, 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Stars Tied Knot In Mexico
Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker were filmed getting married in Mexico with the stars.
Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are married.
They reportedly filmed their nuptials in Mexico, which would explain why several of their co-stars shared vacation pictures on Instagram this week.
A source opened up to blogger Tamara Tattles about seeing the couple set up their wedding at a resort in Cancun.
According to the insider, the reality stars are staying at El Dorado Royale Riviera Maya in Cancun, Mexico. A television production crew from Bravo was also spotted at the location. Burruss and Tucker filmed at the Bellini Bar on the resort with their cast members, said the source. The wedding and vacation will likely appear in an upcoming episode of TRHOA season 6.
The insider, who is staying on the same floor as Burruss' co-star Kenya Moore, described the former Miss USA winner as a "big ole b---h on and off camera." She is reportedly "annoying" random guests with her diva-like behavior.
Tucker proposed to Burruss as they brought in the new year on Jan. 1. The couple shared the news in an interview with Us magazine and posed for a photo in which Burruss, 36, stood in front of her fiancée sporting a two-carat diamond ring. Burruss said she was "totally surprised" but "so excited" because she always thought she would never get married.
It was presumed, however, that Burruss might have called off the upcoming wedding. She attended a store opening in Atlanta last week without her fiancée or the stunning sparkler on her ring finger. View the photo here.
Bravo's new extended trailer for season 6 suggested the couple was having relationship troubles because Tucker refused to sign a prenuptial agreement. After, Burruss' mother questioned how well her daughter knows her fiancé, the bride-to-be asked him if he is willing to sign the agreement.
"I'm not gonna sign anything," he replied to the shock of Burruss and her mother.
"I think he's an opportunist," Burruss' mother later tells Burrus' co-star Phaedra Parks, a famed attorney who represents her.
Despite the drama, Burruss and Tucker recently announced that they are co-producing a theatrical play that will show for a brief time in Atlanta. Titled, A Mother's Love, the cast features Burruss, Eddie Levert, Shirley Murdock, D. Woods, 112's Q Parker and Chandra Currelly.
