Eminem To Perform On Saturday Night Live For The Sixth Time

Eminem recently spoke about his upcoming album with Rolling Stone and explained that The Marshall Mathers LP 2 will be reminiscent of his old sound.

"So there's not gonna be, like, continuations of every old song on there or anything like that," he told the magazine in the November issue. "To me, it's more about the vibe, and it's more about the nostalgia."

He also said that he wants his followup to 2000's The Marshall Mathers LP to live up to expectations since many deem the prequel his best record to date.

"Calling it The Marshall Mathers LP 2, obviously I knew that there might be certain expectations," he said. "I wouldn't want to call it that just for the sake of calling it that. I had to make sure that I had the right songs - and just when you think you got it, you listen and you're like, 'F--k, man! I feel like it needs this or that,' to paint the whole picture."

The Marshall Mathers LP 2 hits stores on Nov. 5.
