The football team at Clemson will be facing off against Maryland at 3:30 p.m. EST Saturday.

The ninth ranked Clemson Tigers (6-1) will be playing the unranked Maryland Terrapins (5-2) on the Terrapins' home turf in Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium in College Park, Md. Clemson has the advantage going into Saturday's game with a record of 33-26-2 against Maryland all time. Clemson is also the favorite to win among oddsmakers.

Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd is one of the most noteworthy quarterbacks in the nation, leading the ACC in passing yardage. He ranks second in touchdown passes with 16 and ranks third in passer rating in the league. In 222 pass attempts this season, he has only thrown for two interceptions.

Boyd is helped by wide receiver Sammy Watkins, who leads his team with 650 receiving yards. The wide receiver has given Clemson a touchdown in each of the last four games and has gone past the 100-yard receiving mark in three out of Clemson's last four games.

Maryland will have to start without their star quarterback C.J. Brown, who will be forced to sit out due to a concussion. Leading rusher Brandon Ross has also been forced to sit out of the game due to a shoulder injury.

The injuries continue Maryland's unlucky season; wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Deon Long each suffered a broken leg in last week's game against Wake Forest.

The Clemson vs. Maryland game will be broadcast live on ESPN at 3:30 p.m. EST and can be viewed through live streaming online here.
