Just a few weeks after Ciara was hit by pregnancy rumors, her boyfriend Future proposed to her on Sunday night. 

The couple has been only dating since January, but now they have taken their relationship to the next level, as the rapper popped the question to the singer while she was celebrating her 28th birthday in New York City.

Ciara's publicist confirmed to the Associated Press of the engagement. 

Future, whose real name is Nayvadius D. Wilburn is currently on tour with Drake, but made time out of his busy schedule to get down on one knee to present Ciara with a 15-carat engagement ring. 

Ciara has yet to confirm the news to her fans, but she tweeted some excitement on Sunday. 

"Today Has 2 Be Like One Of The Sweetest Days Of My Life! #TheBestBirthdayEver," she tweeted, later adding, "If I'm Dreaming I Don't Want To Wake Up..Aaaaaahhh!!!:)"

Ciara isn't the only celebrity who recently got proposed to own her birthday. In fact, her friend, Kim Kardashian is now engaged after Kanye West popped the question on her 33rd birthday. 

Enstars reported earlier that Ciara in the middle of pregnancy rumors after she wore an outfit to a recent performance that many speculated if she was a hiding a baby bump. She wore a black leather Anthony Vaccarello top with a plaid coverup around her waist. See photos here:

Back in August, Future appeared on NYC's radio station Hot 97 with Angie Martinez and gushed about Ciara.

"It feels good, and different from being with different girls every day...Rock star life style at the same time,"He said. "Months before I met her, I was going through something and living the life.
