Melissa Joan Hart talked about partying with Britney Spears and her other friendships with Hollywood A-listers in her new memoir, Melissa Tells All: Tales from My Abnormally Normal Life.

Enstars caught up with Hart to speak about her new book at its launch on Oct. 29 at the Monkey Bar in New York City.

In the book Hart talks about her time working with Spears on the film Drive Me Crazy (1999). She said she helped Spears, who was underage and micromanaged by her team at the time, sneak out of her hotel and took her out dancing. However, that was then and Hart said they haven't been in touch, especially since the both of them had kids.

Melissa Joan Hart says Muley Cyrus, Justin Bieber and others in young Hollywood need to "escape their past."

The memoir also exposes interesting bits about a few celebrities, for instance, Hart told Blake Lively about her hook-up with Ryan Reynolds and disclosed details about Drew Barrymore's make-out sessions when she was only 10. Though none of this information seems dangerously licentious, Hart was asked if there might be any details in her book that might warrant legal issues.

"Not yet! The book came out today, we'll find out!" she laughed.

Speaking about adding "author" to her "long list of accomplishments," Hart also discussed her experience writing for the first time.

"I've been like having the urge to write something, I thought why not start with my life which I know so well, but it was tricky," she said. "It was a very long process, especially going through all the edits and then the legal and the photos. But I enjoyed it and now here we are today getting to celebrate it so now I get to add author to my long list of accomplishments."

Hart launched the book in collaboration with Nutrisystem, a commercial provider of weight loss products and services. The 37-year-old actress is campaigning for the brand and said that she is currently working on losing a few more pounds before working on a new campaign for them for which she will pose in a bathing suit. While working on Melissa and Joey, Hart suggested that she was also looking forward to doing some directing work.
