While many opposed Julianne Hough's decision to wear blackface as part of her Halloween costume, Tamar Braxton doesn't see the fuss.

"She doesn't look African-American to me," Braxton said on VH1's The Big Morning Buzz. "She looks like me with a tan when I go spray tanning. I mean I am African-American, but I'm just saying, like if you had four tans on top of each other you know what I'm saying, like the spray tans? That's what she looks like."

Hough dressed as Orange Is The New Black character Crazy Eyes, who is potrayed by Uzo Aduba. The Dancing With The Stars alum's costume was deemed offensive by many. For example, the President of the Media Area Unit of NAACP of Pennsylvania considered it a disappointment and said Hough should be more responsible since she is a public figure.

"If her behavior is an act of impulsive insensitivity, she needs, as a public figure, to be more responsible," Joan Duvall-Flynn said in a statement to FOX News. "And, an apology for such insensitivity is appropriate."

Braxton, however, doesn't share the same view and and said she doesn't find Hough's actions racist.

"I think people are on team too much right now, cause it's Halloween, and you should go dressed as you want to," Braxton said. "If I was to dress up in all white with like a conehead would you be mad at me?... It's not like you are trying to be racist or offensive or anything like that. It's just Halloween."

Hough apologized for her controversial costume via Twitter on Oct. 2.

"I am a huge fan of the show Orange is the New black, actress Uzo Aduba, and the character she has created. It certainly was never my intention to be disrespectful or demeaning to anyone in any way," she said. "I realize my costume hurt and offended people and I truly apologize."
