Pippa Middleton reportedly had her nephew Prince George's hands and feet cast in silver as a gift for the royal baby who was christened on Oct. 23.

The party planner, and sister to Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, arranged to have the sculptures made as a present for the 3-month-old and his parents following the child's baptism, Daily Mail reported.

According to Wrightson and Platt, the London company that makes the sculptures, it takes 30 seconds to make the mold by placing the baby's feet in a jelly-like mixture of water and a seaweed-based powder. The sculptures can be made in colored glass, lead crystal, bronze or silver -- the latter of which is the traditional christening metal. Each set comes with personalized engravings.

The price varies depending on the material chosen and the size of the child, but Middleton reportedly spent about $11,000 on her gift. Buyers can also choose cufflinks or a necklace featuring miniature versions of the sculptures.

A spokesperson for Clarence House would not confirm the gift, saying, "If such a gift exists it would be a private gift and not be something we would be aware of."

Members of the British parliament are said to have given the royal baby a handcrafted pine toy box, which cost $650.
