Channing Tatum is in early talks to star in and produce Bad Romance, according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter.

The film will be directed by Jonathan Levine (50/50). The actor is expected to produce the film with his Iron House Entertainment partner Reid Carolin. No details about the plot were revealed.

Tatum will also be starring in and producing a film based on the life of 1970's daredevil Evel Knievel for Columbia Pictures. Carolin will be writing the screenplay for the film; Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti will be producing.

It was also recently announced that Tatum will be making his foray into reality television by producing a new A&E show based on his Saints and Sinners burlesque club in New Orleans. The show will follow the entertainers at Tatum's venue, which he opened with his friend Keith Kurtz in 2012. Tatum's 33andOut Prods. and Original Media are producing the show. Kurtz will act as executive producer with Original's Charlie Corwin.

Tatum recently signed a deal with CBS to work on a pilot with Nick Zano for a new half hour comedy series titled Nicky, which will be based on Zano's experience growing up in a multi-generational New Jersey household run by seven women.

Tatum is currently busy shooting 22 Jump Street. The actor will reprise his role as Greg Jenko, the ex-jock turned cop. The film -- starring Ice Cube, Amber Stevens, and Wyatt Russell -- hits theaters June 13, 2014.

Tatum is also co-starring with Mila Kunis in the Wachowski siblings' (Matrix) new sci-fi film, Jupiter Ascending. He can be seen next in Bennett Miller's Foxcatcher, recently bumped to a 2014 release. He also voices the part of Superman in The Lego Movie.
