No. 25 Notre Dame prepares for it's fourth straight victory when it hosts Navy at 3:30 pm. EST.

The teams are longtime rivals, though the Irish (6-2) are having a better season than their opponent.

Brian Kelly announced last week that Notre Dame's Louis Nix III and Ishaq Williams would be out for the game, but Chris Watt, Sheldon Day and Elijah Shumate are scheduled to take the field. It is likely that senior Kona Schwenke will earn his fifth start of the season. Schwenke started for injured Nix last week against Air Force and started three games in place of Sheldon Day earlier this season.

Nix is currently ranked as the No. 14 overall prospect and No. 1 defensive tackle in the 2014 NFL Draft class, according to CBSSports.com.

Due to his knee injury, Nix has been limited in practice for the last two weeks.

Notre Dame lost its top-two running backs from last season and has dealt with injuries on the offensive line.

However, the Midshipmen head into Saturday's game with a little confidence after upsetting Pitt.  But, now they have to strategize how to slow down quarterback Tommy Rees, who is coming off a career day against the Falcons.

After the matchup against Navy, the Irish will head to Pitt before a week off and back-to-back meetings against BYU and Stanford to finish up the season.

The Irish still have a shot at the BCS bowl, but health and injuries will be a greater issue against highly physical and skilled teams around the country.
