While it's been a year since Apple rolled out a spanking new iPad, the tech company's newest tablet has many techies quite enthused.

According to Christian Science Monitor, the future iPad Mini "is the best tablet Apple has ever made - and by extension, the best tablet on the market."

With that said, consumers of the highly touted device will have a wide array of choices to make on the product, which include the following:

Black or white, Wi-Fi or LTE, purchase location, and storage amount.

While LTE is appealing, the tech site reported that it'll cost the owner an additional $130 on top of the device's initial fee and more than likely an extra charge per month to their wireless statement.

Interestingly enough, the iPad Mini with Retina will have a strikingly similar screen resolution, battery life and same processor to the iPad Air.

In terms of weight, the Mini with Retina is 40-percent smaller than the larger display of the Air. However, the latter's larger size does make its text clearer to view from further away.

Also, the cost of the Mini with Retina is $100 cheaper than the Air with the same amount of storage space and wireless options.

Although there still isn't a clear-cut date for the Mini with Retina's roll out, the site reported that is is set to come out "later in November."
