Dancing With the Stars eliminated one pair of dancers while granting another immunity during Week 8 of competition.

With seven contestants still in the running for the mirror ball trophy, Dancing With the Stars shook things up a bit this week with a Dance Off battle. Amber Riley and Derek Hough received immunity after scoring a 28 for their Rumba and could not be eliminated and did not have to participate in the Dance Off.

After garnering a 27 for their Argentine Tango, Corbine Bleu and Karina Smirnoff were safe before the Dance Off but still went on to grab three points by defeating Elizabeth Berkley Lauren and Val Chmerkovskiy. Although Elizabeth and Val only scored 25 points for their Jazz piece set to Cher's Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down), the partners were deemed safe.

Leah Remini and Tony Dovolani were also safe following their Viennese Waltz despite only receiving 25 points. Their low score didn't stop them from out dancing Brant Dougherty and Peta Murgatroyd for three points in the Rumba. Brant and Peta were in jeopardy following their Foxtrot to The Shoop Shoop Song by Rudy Clark even though they pulled in 27 points.

Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke received 27 points for their Tango and were in jeopardy when they defeated Bill Engvall and Emma Slater in the Disco Dance Off. After scoring the lowest of any team in Week 8 for their full-length Disco, Bill and Emma were still safe at the end of the episode.

Brant and Peta were ultimately eliminated.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
