Ciara almost endured an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction Tuesday when she took her seat at the 2014 People's Choice Awards press conference in Beverly Hills. 

The Body Party singer was dressed in a black mini skirt that nearly revealed her private parts when he tried to sit down on the panel. Ciara quickly pulled down her skirt before she got exposed. In photos, the appears to be caught off guard. (See photos here:)

She was there to announce this year's nominees which included herself in the Favorite R&B artist category, along with Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake. 

The singer, who recently got engaged to boyfriend Future last week has made recent headlines after she performed in Abu Dhabi with a bigger-than-normal stomach. 

According to an executive at Ciara's record label, she is indeed expecting her first child. 

During a follow-up phone call, the industry insider revealed how excited Ciara Future are for their bundle of joy. 

Future addressed Ciara's pregnancy in an interview on Hot 93.7. Without confirming or denying, he said simply, "it's a rumor."

During an appearance on Kris Jenner's talk-show, Ciara explained how she balances romance with her career.

"You have to make time, because that's where you find your sanity. If you just commit to work every day, every day, all day, you get so lost that you can lose yourself," Ciara said. 

"Love is really important to me," she added.

Ciara has yet to confirm the pregnancy.
