Bill's (Don Diamont) near-death experience in Aspen pushed him to end his relationship with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and go back to Katie (Heather Tom) on The Bold and the Beautiful.

"When you come that close to death...that kind of death...it makes everything very clear," Bill said to Brooke as they fly back from Aspen in a preview clip for the Nov. 7 episode.

Brooke doesn't want to hear about it though, because she is now heartbroken.

"Why couldn't you just have appreciated what you had?" she asked Bill in the clip.

It appears Bill does not listen to her or take pity on the woman he claimed to love that he has now hurt, because he will ask Katie for forgiveness on the episode.

"I made a mistake. Brooke was a mistake," he said to Katie in the clip.

Could it possibly be a scheme on Bill's part?

When he first broke the news to Brooke in the Nov. 6 episode that he was going back to Katie, he didn't declare any undying love for his ex-wife. His reasoning had more to do with the fact that being with Brooke meant he could no longer control his company, nor could he see his son as often as he'd like.

Will Katie, who has admitted to missing Bill, and who is not succeeding in her role as CEO at Spencer Publications, take him back?

All will be revealed on The Bold and the Beautiful, which airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
