Miss Universe 2012 winner Olivia Clupo stunned the crowd when she arrived on stage at the Miss Universe 2013 show wearing an ultra-pricey swimsuit on Saturday.

Culpo stood out sporting a white Yamamay swimsuit worth $1 million, crafted by Dinacci, which was accessorized with a feather boa when she walked on the runway.

The following day, Miss Universe 2013 winner Gabriela Isler wore the stunning bejeweled number to her first press conference in Russia. During the event, she and the organizers of the pageant shared details about the luxury item. The organizers said the costume was sewn with 900 stones and revealed its pricey cost.

Isler, who beat 85 women to become the seventh Venezuelan to win, described it as "simple but very elegant."

"So it's like me," she said before joking that she loved it so much she was considering stealing it. "I'm still asking: where are those guards, because I'll run with it."

In response to Isler's remark, Paula Shugart, the president of the Miss Universe organization, quipped, "We do have armed guards, so don't get any ideas."

The designers behind the swimwear line that created the million dollar swimsuit shared details behind creating the lavish item. After teaming up with jeweler Danicci to collaborate on the design, they decided to use emeralds, rubies and diamonds because they were inspired by the colors in the Italian flag. It took three months to create, they revealed.

The 62nd annual event took place at Crocus City Hall on Nov. 9. It was hosted by America's Got Talent judge and former Spice Girl Melanie Brown. She shared her hosting duties with MSNBC Live host Thomas Roberts, Style Network's Jeannie Mai and Culpo.
