Mariah Carey had no filter when she appeared on a HOT 97 radio interview with Angie Martinez on Wednesday, dissing American Idol and Nicki Minaj.

Carey, who appeared a judge on the singing competition show for only for season was very open and honest when asked what it was like working the FOX gig.

She admitted that she was a bit surprised when she learned that it would be a four-person, reigniting a feud with Minaj.

"Honestly, I hated it," Carey said of her single season on the Fox show. "I thought it was going to be a three-person panel. They gave me a nice dangling monetary moment, and I was just like, 'Okay. Randy Jackson will be there; I've known him forever. He used to play bass for me. Like, this isn't a big deal. This will be nothing.' But it wasn't that. It was like going to work every day in hell with Satan."

Minaj and Carey got into several cat fights during the auditions and the live shows. In May 2013, the rapper even took shots at Carey on Twitter calling "insecure" and "bitter."

Despite the drama from the show, Carey revealed that there were a few positive aspects.

"You know what I loved? I loved the contestants," Carey told Martinez. "And some of them that were so good-and also really good people, you could tell-it was disappointing when [the judges] would, for political reasons, not put people through."
