Pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy will be a guest judge on Monday night's Dancing With the Stars semifinals.

Chmerkovskiy will be a judge alongside Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli on Monday night's episode of Dancing With the Stars, according to a new report by TMZ. Chmerkovskiy was a pro dancer on the show for 13 seasons.

The dancer never won the coveted Mirrorball trophy but he came close in several seasons, finishing in second place with Melanie Brown and Kirstie Alley in season 5 and 12, respectively. He came in third place in season 4 with Laila Ali and with Erin Andrews in season 10.

Julianne Hough, who won season 4 and 5, returned to guest judge earlier in the season, filling in for Goodman. Hough received headlines when she called out Mark Ballas for drawing too much attention to himself during his routines.

Going into the semifinals, there are five couples left in the competition. High School Musical star Corbin Bleu and partner Karina Smirnoff and Glee actress Amber Riley and partner Derek Hough are considered the frontrunners due to their high scores.
