While fans of the hit British-American drama, Downton Abbey, will have to wait it out over a month in order to see its season 4 finale Christmas Special, details on the highly anticipated episode continue to unfold.

A photo of the cast was recently unveiled, and it features Shirley Maclaine re-emerging as her character Martha Levinson, amongst the rest of the program's regulars.

Actor Paul Giamatti, pictured in a tuxedo and white bow tie towards the center of the portrait, will be gracing the Downton small screen to play Cora's (Elizabeth McGovern) "maverick playboy" brother named Harold.

According to Daily Mail, Giamatti will be "the rather free-spirited uncle to Mary and Edith" and both he and Maclaine's character will "upset the Grantham's apple cart in this year's finale."

Also interesting to note, Lady Edith (Laura Carmichael), who found out she was pregnant with married editor Michael Gregson's baby, showed no indications of expecting in the abovementioned image.

Edith's scenario will clearly beg the question on whether the creative brass will be skipping ahead in time to after her birth, or staying present with her having an abortion.

Downton Abbey will be airing its finale episode on Sunday, Dec. 25 in the U.K. The TV series will be debuting its fourth season in the U.S. on Jan. 5, 2014. Be sure to keep checking back for more details.
