Congratulations are in order for The Bachelor star Melissa Rycroft.  Following the announcement of her second pregnancy last month, she shared the baby's gender.

The reality star learned she is having a boy and said she is "really excited" about having a son.

"When I found out [I was having a] boy, I just got really excited!" the Dancing With The Stars winner told Us Weekly. "And Tye, he's such a guy's guy, so personally I'm really happy he gets to do all his boy stuff."

She also shared the reaction her husband Tye Strickland had when he learned he was having a boy.

"It's so funny the first thing out of his mouth was, 'I feel so much responsibility now!'" she shared. "I was like, 'Um have you not felt it the past two and a half years?' I guess there's something to be said about the same sex parent taking the bulk of [responsibility]."

Rycroft, who is 17 weeks along in her second pregnancy, said she has been the one doing the feminine things with their daughter Ava, 2, so it will be exciting for Strickland to have a son to do male things with.

"I've been the one who's been teaching Ava the basics. We do our dance stuff together and ballet, and I teach her how to do her hair and matching clothes," she explained. "Now it's kind of his turn to teach somebody how to throw and catch a ball and go outside and find worms."

Rycroft will welcome her second child next spring. She and Strickland wed in 2009, the same year she won and was later dumped by The Bachelor season 13 by single father Jason Resnick. After she won the show, Resnick admitted he changed his mind about Rycroft and broke up with her during the live broadcast of The Bachelor: After The Rose special. He said he had a change of heart and wanted to give love a chance with runner-up Molly Malaney.

Rycroft later appeared on season 8 of Dancing With The Stars and again on Dancing With The Stars All Stars edition. She won the competition with dance partner Tony Dovolani.
